Quang Tri Provincial Police visit Buddhist institutions on the occasion of Vesak

Quang Tri - On the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday, Quang Tri Provincial Police visited and sent congratulations to establishments, pagodas, and monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the area.

On June 1st, Quang Tri Provincial Police said that on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday 2570 - Solar Calendar 2026, Quang Tri Provincial Police organized a delegation to visit, give gifts, and send congratulations to establishments, pagodas, and monks, nuns and Buddhists in the area.

This is a practical activity showing the concern and attachment of the Police force to religions in general and Buddhism in particular, contributing to tightening the great national unity bloc, building close relationships between local authorities and dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists.

At the places visited, leaders of Quang Tri Provincial Police sent their best wishes to dignitaries, officials and all monks, nuns, and Buddhists to welcome a joyful, happy, and peaceful Buddha's Birthday.

Leaders of the Provincial Police acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Tri province and monks, nuns, and Buddhists in inheriting the quintessence of Buddhism, promoting the profound humanistic ideology of Buddhism. Especially in propaganda and mobilization of monks, nuns, and Buddhists to well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State; actively participating in revolutionary action movements, the "All people protect national security" movement and social security activities, contributing to maintaining security and order (ANTT) in the locality.

The Buddha's Birthday is an opportunity to spread more deeply the motto of practicing the Dharma "Doanh, nation, socialism", the spirit of "compassion, generosity", living "good life, beautiful religion", contributing efforts to the prosperity of the locality and the country.

Responding to the delegation's feelings, representatives of Buddhist institutions expressed their sincere thanks for the attention of Party committees, authorities at all levels and the Police force to Buddhist activities in the past time. At the same time, they affirmed that they will continue to mobilize monks, nuns, and Buddhists to well comply with the provisions of the law, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, and join hands to maintain social order and safety in the area.
