On September 21, Bao Lam District Police (Lam Dong Province) and Dak Glong District Police (Dak Nong Province) signed a coordination regulation to ensure security and order in the border area.
The border area between Bao Lam district and Dak Glong district has an important strategic position. The intersecting terrain is mainly mountainous and forested.
This is where criminals take advantage of activities and commit illegal acts such as: illegal exploitation of forest products and minerals; drug and criminal crimes... posing many potential risks of causing insecurity and disorder.
Through assessing the actual situation in recent times, Bao Lam and Dak Glong District Police agreed to sign a coordination regulation.
Coordination contents include proactively advising the Party Committees and authorities of the two localities to direct departments, branches and organizations to closely coordinate with the police force in ensuring security and order; coordinating to organize propaganda, dissemination and legal education for people in the border areas between the two districts.
The police of the two districts jointly launched high-point campaigns to attack and suppress crimes, strengthen the management of the area and subjects; coordinate to consolidate the movement of the entire people to protect national security, build self-management models of security and order; promote the role of prestigious people to assist the police force in managing the area; regularly exchange information on the security and order situation in the border area between the two districts.
In that spirit, the police of the two districts agreed to hold regular meetings in border communes to evaluate the results of task implementation.
At the signing ceremony, the leaders of the Police of Bao Lam and Dak Glong districts gave specific assessments of the results of the coordination work to ensure security and order in the border area in recent times.
On the other hand, the leaders of the two districts' police also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome. In particular, it is necessary to better implement the work of the police force in keeping a close watch on the area; mobilizing the masses to participate in the fight, prevention and reporting of crimes early and from afar.
