The police force of communes in Lao Cai province in the past time has not only contributed to ensuring security and order but also directly participated in supporting people's lives.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal on May 5, from the end of April 2026, in a highland village of Xuan Ai commune (Lao Cai province), Mr. Trieu Ton Tien's family is preparing to build a new house. The family's circumstances are difficult, Mr. Tien's self-excavation of the foundation to build a house is almost impossible to do quickly.

Right at that time, after grasping the information, the Xuan Ai Commune Police force coordinated with people in the village to support. In just one day, the foundation of the house over 100m2 was basically completed.

Not long after that, another incident occurred in Nam Ke village (Muong Bo commune, Lao Cai province) when the domestic water system broke down. Dozens of households fell into a state of water shortage, and their lives were affected.

While the repair cannot be completed immediately, the grassroots police force has proactively organized to transport clean water to distribute to each household. Water cans are divided equally, enough for use in the days waiting for repair. For households far away, with difficult roads, officers and soldiers still directly bring water to the place.

Not only supporting domestic water, after storms and hailstorms occurred in the area, causing damage to houses and crops, the police force of communes in Lao Cai province quickly arrived in affected villages and hamlets to work with the government and people to overcome the consequences.

At many points, fallen trees blocking the road have been cut down and cleared by the police force, ensuring smooth traffic. In the context of complicated weather conditions, difficult movement, but police officers and soldiers at the grassroots level were still present early, working with people until the work was completed.

According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, in the coming time, the "Three Firsts" emulation movement will continue to be implemented by the unit in association with the reality of work at the grassroots level; the focus is to improve work efficiency, promptly solve problems arising from life. From there, consolidate and maintain people's trust, contributing to maintaining security and order right from the grassroots level.
