On December 9, at the 9th Session of the 4th Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee submitted a report on assigning goals, tasks and allocating the State budget estimate for 2025 to implement 3 national target programs in the province. Accordingly, the investment capital plan for 2025 is more than 660 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is more than 490 billion VND, and the local budget is more than 170 billion VND.
With a total implementation capital of over 720 billion VND, Dak Nong has planned to allocate about 659 billion VND from the State budget to implement 3 national target programs. Of which, the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas is allocated over 281 billion VND.
The program's goal is to reduce the poverty rate among ethnic minorities by 5% or more and have 7 communes and 72 villages out of extremely difficult areas.
In 2025, Dak Nong province is expected to allocate more than 80 billion VND to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction.
The goal is to reduce the overall poverty rate of the province by 2% or more, and the local ethnic minority population by 4% or more, according to the poverty standard for the 2021-2025 period.
For the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Dak Nong province plans to allocate more than 297 billion VND.
The province strives to have 2 districts meeting new rural district standards by 2025 and no communes meeting less than 15 new rural criteria.
