Special imprint in ethnic and religious work in 2025

On the morning of January 14, the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs (MOLISA) held a conference to summarize MOLISA work in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026.

According to Minister of DTTG Dao Ngoc Dung, in 2026, the Ministry of DTTG set out 12 tasks to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; Directives, Resolutions, Conclusions of the Party, National Assembly, Government, and guiding and operating documents of the Prime Minister related to DTTG work.

Also according to Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, in 2025, DTTG work is concerned and directed by the Party, State and the entire political system at all levels, coordinating implementation; People and social communities nationwide pay attention to and monitor, creating important motivation in implementing ethnic policies, and the efforts to rise up of ethnic minorities (ETHNIC MINORITIES).

Especially in 2025, the Government and the Prime Minister paid attention to specifically and closely directing the construction and completion of institutions, removing difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of DTTG policies, focusing on the National Target Program (MTQG) on ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

The monitoring and urging of the implementation of 3 National Target Programs is included by the Government in the meeting programs and Resolutions of regular monthly meetings.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long acknowledged the results in DTTG work that the Ministry of DTTG has achieved in the past year.

Regarding directions, tasks, and solutions in the coming time, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long basically agreed with the report and speeches of delegates attending the conference.

At the same time, it is proposed that the Ministry of DTTG thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; Directives, Resolutions, Conclusions of the Party, National Assembly, Government, and directing and operating documents of the Prime Minister related to DTTG work.

Especially Conclusion No. 65 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 24 of the Central Government on ethnic affairs in the new situation; Directive No. 18 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 25 of the Central Government on religious affairs in the new situation.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long noted that the Ministry of DTTG pays attention to training, fostering, and improving the level of theory, professional capacity and practical knowledge of cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in DTTG. Promote decentralization and delegation of power associated with the spirit and responsibility of the head in performing work, overcoming the situation of shirking and avoiding responsibility.

Recognizing the great contributions of Minister of Logistics Dao Ngoc Dung in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, on this occasion, the President signed a Decision to award the Third-class Labor Medal to Minister of Logistics Dao Ngoc Dung.
