Speeding up the construction of 3 schools in the border area of Dak Lak

Dak Lak - Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee conducted a field survey and requested the early completion of documents and started construction of 3 schools in the border area.

On October 26, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, led a working group of the province to inspect and survey the locations planned to build ethnic boarding schools in some border communes of the province.

The working group surveyed the construction locations including: Buon Don Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Buon Don commune); Ia lob Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities ( Ia Lap commune); Ia R've Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities ( Ia R've commune).

The new Buon Don Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities will be built in Thong Nhat village, with a total investment of more than 158.6 billion VND. The school has a scale of 1,155 students, including boarding and semi-boarding students.

Ia R've Primary and Secondary Boarding School will be upgraded and expanded from the Nguyen Thi Dinh Secondary School, with a total investment of 126.7 billion VND and a scale of 1,125 students.

Ia Lap Primary and Secondary Boarding School will be upgraded and expanded from the facilities of Nguyen Trai Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, with a total investment of 105 billion VND, with a scale of 980 students.

Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested departments, branches and sectors to closely coordinate with local authorities to urgently complete specific documents and investment plans.

In particular, strive to start construction and complete the projects before August 30, 2026, and put them into use from the 2026-2027 school year.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized: The project to build schools in border communes shows the deep concern of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense for education, social security and mass mobilization work in strategic areas.

Thereby contributing to strengthening national defense - security, sustainable economic - social development in the border area. Sectors and localities need to promptly implement construction so that ethnic minority children have better conditions to study and develop".
