On the morning of October 24, at the An Giang Provincial Library, the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang Province organized a scientific workshop on "The value of the Tao Quan Chiu Anh Cac - Ha Tien heritage in Vietnamese literature and the dissemination of Ha Tien land culture". Dr. Nguyen Diep Mai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Dr. Nguyen Quang Khanh - Deputy Director in charge of the An Giang Provincial Monuments Management Board, MSc. Nguyen Thi Bach Hue - Director of the An Giang Provincial Museum - chaired the workshop. Also attending were more than 50 delegates who are scientists, researchers inside and outside the province and representatives of intellectuals in Ha Tien.
In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Quang Khanh emphasized: Ha Tien with its beautiful natural scenery has become an inspiration and origin for Mac Thien Tu (Tich), son of Mac Cuu - the explorer of Ha Tien - to found the Tao Chieu Anh Cac dan, gathering dozens of domestic and foreign composers to participate in the bay, pre-production... Typically, the song "Ha Tien phuong trai trai trai" - Tao dan Chieu Anh Cac has become the largest cultural - academic - poetry exchange center in the South in the 18th century, while leaving an invaluable heritage in the history of Vietnamese literature.
But according to Dr. Khanh, Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac is not only a literary play, but also a cultural symbol, deeply reflecting the humanistic spirit, intelligence and kind heart of those who opened the Southern land...
In that spirit, the conference received 70 presentations from scientists, researchers from universities, research institutes, etc. The Organizing Committee had a firm selection of 15 presentations for the year.
At the workshop, the Organizing Committee continued to listen to more than 10 presentations, opinions, analysis documents, evidence and affirmation of the special value and inheritance of the Tao dan Chieu Anh Cac - Ha Tien in the flow of Vietnamese literature. Through the presentations, such as: "The Heritage of the Tao dan Chieu Anh Cuc in the spiritual life of the people of the Southwest" (Research house of Truong Thanh Hung - former Chairman of the Literature and Arts Association of Kien Giang province); "The Tao dan Chieu Anh Cac through the notes of the book Dai Nam Nhat Thong Vi" (Research house of Nguyen Thanh Thuan - Vice Chairman of the Historical Science Association of Dong Thap province); The issue of Tao dan Chieu Anh Cac ( MSc. Tran Hot Lai)...
Thereby, many documents have been provided, comments, affirming the unique value of the contest and also making many proposals to promote the spiritual and literary values of humanity, intelligence and a spirit of guidance in the new era. In particular, in addition to continuing to research and clarify a number of practical issues related to the place, there is a proposal to include the Tao Quan Chieu Anh Cac literature in the general education program....

At the same time, he affirmed that he will synthesize opinions, contributions, and documents at this workshop as a basis for practical activities to celebrate the 290th anniversary of Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac (1736-2026).
