Dak Nong - Over the past 20 years, Thuan An Border Guard Station has done a very good job of protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

Thuan An Border Gate Border Guard Station, Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard (BDBP) has just held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th Traditional Day (January 25, 2005 - January 25, 2025).

Thuan An Border Guard Station, stationed in Thuan An Commune, Dak Mil District (Dak Nong). This is one of the border guards established after Dak Nong province was re-established.

Along with the task of firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and border security, Thuan An Border Guard Station has done a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities in consolidating political bases.

The unit has implemented many social security programs and models such as: "Adopted child of Border Guard Station" for 1 child; "Helping children go to school" for 12 children, including 6 children from the outskirts of Bus'ra commune, Cambodia.

In addition, there are also projects "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" for 40 children of ethnic minorities in 2 hamlets Sapa and Bu Dak; helping families in difficult circumstances to escape poverty through models of raising cows and goats for reproduction...

In the field of crime prevention and control, the unit has thoroughly grasped, developed plans, and effectively fought against all types of subjects.

Organize patrols and controls to promptly detect and handle violations of border regulations. Detect and handle cases of transporting prohibited goods; illegal possession of drugs, etc.

As a result, Thuan An Border Guard Station detected and handled 82 cases/120 subjects, fined 96,500,000 VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Dung - Deputy Commander of Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard - acknowledged and praised the achievements of generations of officers and soldiers of Thuan An Border Guard Station over the past 20 years.

Colonel Nguyen Van Dung hopes that each officer and soldier will continue to inherit and promote traditions, establish new achievements, and build a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative and developing national border. Continue to do a good job in advising local Party committees and authorities to effectively implement Directive No. 01, dated January 9, 2015 of the Prime Minister on "Organizing a mass movement to participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation".

Strengthen mass mobilization and special propaganda work, help people develop the economy, reduce poverty, and build new rural areas in Thuan An commune practically and effectively.
