In the joyful and urgent atmosphere of the last days of the year, Coast Guard Team 21 just organized a send-off ceremony for ships to go on duty in assigned sea areas, focusing on preventing and combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

The ceremony took place solemnly, briefly but clearly showed the high determination of officers and soldiers before the sacred mission at the forefront of waves and winds. Before the ship anchored, the work of thoroughly grasping, educating, encouraging ideology and ensuring logistics and techniques was fully prepared, helping officers and soldiers to feel secure in performing their duties during Tet.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Hieu - Deputy Commander of Naval Flotilla 21 emphasized that combat readiness during Tet is a particularly important task, requiring each officer and soldier to uphold their sense of responsibility, maintain political bravery, strictly comply with discipline, proactively grasp the situation, and handle situations at sea flexibly and in accordance with the law.

With a steadfast mindset and high determination, officers and soldiers of Naval Flotilla 21 are ready to celebrate Tet at sea, continuing the journey to protect the sea and islands, so that the spring in the mainland is complete and peaceful.
