On December 17, Regiment 719 coordinated with the People's Committee of Dak Nhau commune (Dong Nai province) to organize a health examination, consultation, free medicine supply and gift giving program for policy families, ethnic minorities and people in difficult circumstances in the commune.
The activity was held on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day, demonstrating the concern and responsibility of the military unit towards the people of the project area where the unit is stationed.
At the program, officers and staff of the 719 Military Hospital directly examined, provided health consultations and provided free medicine to more than 300 people.
In addition to examining and treating common diseases, the military medical force also guides people on how to take care of their health, prevent diseases, and raise awareness of health protection in daily activities.
On this occasion, the units presented 200 gifts to policy families and families in difficult circumstances in the area where they are stationed.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Luong - Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Regiment - said that through the program, it continues to affirm the motto of Regiment 719: The Army is always close and maintains a united relationship with the people, ensuring that no one is left behind, even in the most remote and difficult areas.
Thereby, further tightening military-civilian relations, demonstrating the affection, humanity and responsibility of Regiment 719 towards policy families, poor people, and ethnic minorities in remote and isolated areas in the area.
Along with health care activities, Regiment 719 also integrates propaganda content under Project 57 of the Ministry of National Defense on "The Army participates in propaganda and mobilization of ethnic minorities to actively fight to defeat the plot and tricks of dividing the great national unity bloc of hostile forces in the new situation" in 2025.
At the propaganda session, the Regiment's reporter team applied a close and easy-to-understand communication method, helping people grasp the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State. Thereby, raising awareness of the responsibility of each person in maintaining security and order in the locality.
The propaganda content is also integrated with the socio-economic development orientation associated with strengthening national defense and security, mobilizing people to participate in production, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, joining hands to build a stable life and the homeland is increasingly developed.
