On the morning of July 25, Van Ho Regional General Hospital (Son La province) held an inauguration ceremony for a new facility in Van Ho commune. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the provincial Department of Health, provincial Social Insurance, affiliated medical units, local leaders and a large number of doctors and people.
The project has a total investment of 261 billion VND from the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and the provincial budget, implemented from 2022.
The project includes the following items: outpatient examination room, inpatient treatment area, professional technical area, administration, infection control department and auxiliary items.
The hospital is designed with a scale of 150 beds, meeting the health care needs of Van Ho people and neighboring areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, MSc. Dr. Tran Huu Hung - Director of the hospital, said that the operation of the new facility will contribute to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, reducing the burden on upper levels and helping people in remote areas access medical services more conveniently.
Deputy Director of the Department of Health Tran Trong Hai suggested that the hospital quickly stabilize its organization, improve expertise, practice medicine, build a green, clean, beautiful hospital environment and effectively use resources.
At the ceremony, the project was given a plaque to celebrate the 1st Van Ho Commune Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030
