Attending the program were Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; representatives of units under the Ministry of Public Security; leaders of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, People's Committee and a large number of local cadres and people.
This year, the Festival has a special meaning as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Defense of the Security and Order. This is also the first time Hai Phong City has organized the Festival in the context of rearranging administrative units, switching to operating a two-level local government model.
Le Thanh Nghi Ward was chosen to organize a city-level point thanks to the strong and extensive movement to protect national security and order. 100% of residential areas (48/48) of the ward meet the "Safe on security and order" standard. Over the years, the locality has been continuously recognized for its outstanding achievements in propaganda, crime prevention, ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting, and building a people's security posture.
At the Festival, delegates and people reviewed the significance of the movement, watching reports reflecting the achievements in protecting security and order in the area. On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security and Hai Phong City presented many gifts to outstanding cadres, ward residents, policy families and individuals.
At the program, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Hai Phong City and Le Thanh Nghi Ward in building a movement of All People Protecting ANTQ. Senior General Le Van Tuyen emphasized that in the new period, especially after the merger of administrative units, it is necessary to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovate governance thinking, tighten the People's Security front, contribute to maintaining stability, serving socio-economic development.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen suggested that the Party Committee, government and the Hai Phong City Police force continue to synchronously deploy key tasks: Fully implementing the instructions of the Central Government and the Ministry of Public Security; perfecting the Steering Committees of movements at all levels, ensuring unity and effectiveness in direction and organization of implementation.
Along with that, it is necessary to innovate the content and forms of propaganda; promote the role of digital technology and social networks in spreading legitimate information and exemplary examples. The building of the movement needs to closely follow the characteristics of the two-level local government model, prioritizing key areas such as industrial parks, schools, and enterprises.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the need to replicate typical models, closely link the movement with fire prevention and fighting, ensure traffic safety and maintain urban order. At the same time, promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the work of building and managing the movement of All People Protecting National Security.
The festival is an opportunity to promote the role and responsibility of the entire political system and people of all walks of life in maintaining security and order - the foundation for the city's stable and sustainable development in the new period.
