On July 26, Mr. Pham Van Lap - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City and Working Group No. 5 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee inspected the preparations for the first Thach Khoi Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
After the merger, Thach Khoi ward was established on the basis of merging a number of old administrative units, with a scale of Party organizations including 36 subordinate Party cells and Party committees and a total of 1,155 Party members.
Up to now, 100% of affiliated Party cells and Party Committees have completed organizing congresses for the 2025-2030 term. The Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee is urgently completing preparations for the first Ward Party Congress in accordance with the direction and plan.
At the meeting, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Thach Khoi Ward Party Committee reported on the progress of the implementation of the following contents: work on drafting political reports; personnel work at the Party Committee level; organization of collecting opinions from Party members and people on draft documents; propaganda work and preparation of facilities for the Congress. According to the plan, the collection of comments on the draft political report will be completed before August 7.
At the inspection, Mr. Pham Van Lap acknowledged and praised the proactive, positive, and highly responsible spirit of the Standing Committee of the Thach Khoi Ward Party Committee in preparing for the congress. Mr. Pham Van Lap emphasized that the first Thach Khoi Ward Party Congress is a very important event, especially in the context of the new two-level government system of the city coming into operation. Therefore, the preparation contents need to be carefully and scientifically invested, ensuring progress and quality.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City requested the Ward Party Committee to focus on developing backlogged and concise congress documents, accurately reflecting the actual situation and development orientation of the ward in the next 5 years; at the same time, closely following the directives in the draft congress documents at the higher level to concretize them to local conditions.
Human resource work must ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and structures, promoting the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and objectivity. Propaganda work also needs to be focused on, highlighting the spirit of innovation, building Thach Khoi ward to be stable and develop firmly right from the first term after the merger.
The successful organization of the first Thach Khoi Ward Party Congress will be an important premise for the Party Committee, government and people of the ward to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals in the period of 2025 - 2030.
