On September 10, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Xuan commune coordinated with Venerable Thich Nu Duc Quang - abbot of Thien Phuoc pagoda (Hamlet 5, Tra On commune) to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a rural traffic road leading to Thien Phuoc 14 bridge in Cong Da hamlet, Vinh Xuan commune.
The approach road to the bridge is nearly 500 meters long, nearly 2 meters wide, with a total cost of 130 million VND, sponsored by Ninh Nu Duc Quang to promote Buddhism.
Thien Phuoc 14 Bridge is also under construction with a total cost of over 250 million VND, contributed by Ninh Nu Duc Quang to mobilize Buddhists.
The total construction cost of the two projects was more than 380 million VND. It is expected that both of these projects will be completed and put into use on October 20, contributing to improving traffic conditions, making it easier for people to travel and promoting local socio-economic development.
In the same direction, the locality coordinated with monk Thich Nu Duc Quang to award 140 scholarships to studious students in the area.
Each scholarship is from 10-20 notebooks depending on the school level and 1 million VND in cash, showing concern and encouragement for students to strive to study and develop comprehensively, contributing to nurturing the future for the younger generation.
The construction works and scholarship awarding activities not only demonstrate the concern of the government and the community for people's lives but also demonstrate the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Buddhists of Thien Phuoc Pagoda accompany the locality in building sustainable new rural areas.
