On May 6, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai - Director of Hue City Ho Chi Minh Museum said that the Duong No village festival 2026 is organized by Hue City Ho Chi Minh Museum in coordination with Duong No Ward People's Committee, taking place from May 14 - 16, to celebrate the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and respond to the Summer Festival 2026.
According to Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, the festival is a political and cultural event to commemorate and show gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.
The program includes many activities: Lotus procession and offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh, releasing lanterns, opening of the festival, introduction of OCOP tourism products, cultural and culinary experiences, exhibitions, storytelling contests... Activities take place at Duong No communal house and Uncle Ho Memorial House.
Duong No is a place associated with President Ho Chi Minh's youth, contributing to the formation of his personality and ideals.
According to the organizers, the festival is not only culturally meaningful but also an invitation to the public and tourists to experience the historical space, feel the beauty of the countryside and traditional values.
