On the afternoon of January 19, Hai An Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) confirmed that a boat and fishermen who sank at sea were rescued in time.
The incident happened at around 13:00 the same day.
At that time, the fishing boat of Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang (born in 1972, residing in My Thuy village, Hai An commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province) and 3 fishermen were fishing in the sea of My Thuy village (My Thuy village).
Due to the impact of big waves, the ship was sunk.
Upon receiving the information, Hai An Border Guard Station sent mobile forces to the shore near the location of the sunken ship.
Border guards coordinated with local people and authorities to pull the fishing boat and fishermen ashore.
