On the morning of March 4, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province simultaneously organized a ceremony to hand over and receive troops in 12 commune, ward, and special zone clusters in the area.

Under the bright fire, in the resounding military service drums, more than 4,600 young people selected from 124 communes, wards, and special zones officially enlisted.
At the troop receiving points, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province cordially visited, presented gifts, and encouraged the new recruits to excellently complete their tasks.

Provincial leaders also sent thanks to families with children enlisting in 2026, who have contributed outstanding children to the cause of national defense.
Tens of thousands of officials, relatives and people were present at the ceremony, creating a solemn, proud and emotional atmosphere.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Military Service Council, the military recruitment work in 2026 is being implemented proactively, closely, and in accordance with regulations. The Council determines the goal of "smooth" military recruitment, implementing the motto "recruit whoever is secure".

The Regional Defense Command coordinates with the Military Command at the commune level and the Military Service Health Examination Council to organize serious and objective recruitment examinations.
Localities implement public elections, ensuring democracy and fairness, contributing to improving the quality of new recruits.
In 2026, Lam Dong province will select and call up 4,607 citizens to enlist (including 3,700 citizens for the army and 907 citizens for the police).
The quality of enlisted youth is highly appreciated. The whole province has 269 citizens achieving health type 1, more than 1,700 citizens achieving health type 2.

Young people aged 18-20 account for 73.8% of the total number assigned to decide. The high school graduation rate reached 30.9%; intermediate, college, and university level reached 7.6%.
Notably, there are 1,356 citizens who follow religions (35.1%), and 1,005 citizens who are children of ethnic minorities (28.4%).
The whole province has 62 enlisted party members, of which 53 are official party members. These figures show the spirit of responsibility and dedication spreading strongly among all strata of the people.
