On February 13, Regiment 726 (Corps 16) coordinated with Quang Truc Commune People's Committee to organize the program "Tet reunion, Spring filled with military-civilian affection" for ethnic minorities in Bon Bu Prang 1 on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
In the bustling atmosphere of preparing to welcome the new Spring, 90 gifts including pork, sticky rice, green beans and many essential necessities were given to the Bu Prang 1 sister villagers.
The gifts are of practical material value, and at the same time deeply express the feelings, responsibility and spirit of sharing of officers and soldiers towards people in remote and border areas that are still facing many difficulties.
On this occasion, the units awarded 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students of Sao Mai Kindergarten. Each scholarship is worth 500,000 VND.
Previously, the sponsoring unit also accompanied the regiment in giving many gifts such as milk, instant noodles, candies, toys... contributing to bringing joy to children during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
Not only caring about material life, the program also organizes many cultural exchange activities such as spring fire burning, gong performances, Chung cake wrapping, and cultural exchanges between soldiers and people.
Activities imbued with traditional cultural values have contributed to creating a warm, close atmosphere, strengthening understanding and solidarity between the army and the people where the unit is stationed.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hue - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Regiment Commander of Regiment 726, through the program, the unit not only brings early Spring joy to the people but also contributes to propagating and educating officials, employees and workers about the traditional Tet cultural tradition of the nation. Thereby, arousing the spirit of mutual affection, community responsibility, and willingness to join hands to support people to overcome difficulties.
This meaningful activity continues to affirm the role of Regiment 726 in performing the task of combining economic development with consolidating national defense and security, building a solid people's heart formation in the area; Contributing to strengthening the blood-and-flesh solidarity between the army and the people, spreading the noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people, and joining hands to build an increasingly stable and developed border region.
On the same day, Regiment 726 coordinated with local authorities and units stationed in the area to organize a memorial service for heroes and martyrs at the Quang Truc Commune Memorial.
