Noi An village, Chuong My ward, Hanoi will solemnly organize a memorial festival for the day of Hoa Duc Thanh Linh Lang Dai Vuong from March 27 - 29, 2026 (February 9-11, Binh Ngo).
This year's festival is of special significance as the opening day is also the day of the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the village communal house relic complex after a long period of restoration and renovation.
The event attracted the attention of a large number of local people and pilgrims with two intertwined ritual and festival parts. The ritual part took place solemnly with traditional worship and procession rituals.
Meanwhile, the festival part was extremely lively with many unique folk games such as to tom diem, planting swing trees, throwing wreaths, blindfolded goat catching and attractive mass art performances.
Saint Linh Lang Dai Vuong (real name Prince Hoang Lang, son of King Ly Thanh Tong and Princess Hao Nuong) is one of the four famous citadels of Thang Long. He made great contributions to defeating the Song invaders invading our country at the end of the 11th century, and was ordained by the king as "Linh Lang Dai Vuong Thuong Dang Phuc Than".

Currently, there are 269 relics nationwide worshiping him to show gratitude for his contributions to national defense and people's security. In Noi An village communal house alone, people still preserve 16 precious imperial decrees of dynasties.
The unique point in the belief here is that the villagers revered the two tutelary gods. In addition to Saint Ca, Saint Linh Lang Dai Vuong, the communal house also worships Saint Hai, Moc Ha Dai Vuong, who is believed to be his younger brother and also a talented general who fought alongside him to fight the enemy.
Noi An communal house was first built in the 11th century, and was successively recognized as a provincial-level and city-level historical and cultural relic in 1989. Through many historical changes, the relic once fell into a serious state of degradation.
By 2024, the project will officially be heavily restored from the state budget and the joint contributions of the people. The most impressive highlight of the village communal house in its new, spacious and imposing appearance is that all decoration and painting items are handcrafted by local artisans using traditional materials.
The completed project not only brings excitement and pride to the people of Noi An village to open a festival to show gratitude to ancestors, but also contributes to preserving and strongly promoting the core spiritual cultural values of the nation.
