On the morning of March 24, at Tan Chanh Pagoda (Can Duoc commune), the People's Committee of Can Duoc commune coordinated with the cultural sector of Tay Ninh province to organize an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 203rd anniversary of the death of Nguyen Khac Tuan (1823-2026) and receive the certificate of National Intangible Cultural Heritage for the Tan Chanh Pagoda Festival.
At the ceremony, delegates and local people performed incense offering rituals to commemorate Xuan Quang Hau Nguyen Khac Tuan - a historical figure worshiped at the communal house, who made many contributions in the early Nguyen Dynasty. His death anniversary is also the occasion of the Ky Yen Dinh Tan Chanh ceremony - a typical folk religious activity of Southern residents.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued in 2025, Tan Chanh Pagoda Festival is officially included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage. This recognition contributes to affirming the historical, cultural and religious values of the festival in the local community life.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Minh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province emphasized: "The recognition of Tan Chanh communal house festival as a national intangible cultural heritage is an important cultural event, a great pride and honor of the Party Committee, government and local people.
Tan Chanh communal house is a traditional village cultural institution formed from the process of opening up the South, associated with the belief in worshiping the tutelary god and ancestors who have contributed to the homeland and country. In which, the Ky Yen ceremony at the communal house clearly shows the cultural and spiritual life typical of the Southern agricultural community through many generations.
