Accordingly, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province has just issued Plan No. 790/KH-UBND to improve the capacity and efficiency of community learning centers (CETs) in communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2025 - 2030.
The main goal of the plan is to organize quality illiteracy classes, creating conditions for workers and the elderly to study, update knowledge, skills and access new technology.
Cao Bang province aims to have 100% of administrative procedures staff by 2030, at least 60% of teachers at educational institutions participate in supporting activities, while developing a network of reporters and collaborators from organizations and unions.
Facilities are also focused on, with 100% of centers having their own offices, 90% having community libraries and free internet connections. In addition, training and fostering for staff, teachers, and volunteers will be promoted to improve the quality of teaching and management.
In particular, the province aims to eliminate illiteracy for people aged 15 - 60, mobilizing at least 10.5% of un literate people to participate in studying each year. The application of information technology is also promoted, ensuring that 90% of centers apply technology in management and teaching.
This program hopes to raise awareness, increase community participation and contribute to the sustainable development of education in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
