Nghe An - After just over 3 hours of receiving the report, Nghia Loc Commune Police clarified the subject who stole 2 organovers at Xuan Loc Parish Primary School.

On August 12, Nghia Loc Commune Police, Nghe An Province, announced that they had initiated a case and prosecuted the accused Nguyen Van Chien (born in 2003, residing in Nghia Loc Commune) for theft of property.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 31, Nghia Loc Commune Police received a report that the music room at the primary house of Xuan Loc Parish had been broken into by a thief and took away 2 organ groups while the primary schools were attending a ceremony. The incident caused outrage among parishioners and officials, affecting local security and order.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Commune Police force mobilized maximum numbers of troops to urgently investigate. After just over 3 hours, the police identified Nguyen Van Chien as the culprit, and at the same time recovered all assets and returned them to the victims.

At the investigation agency, Chien stated that because he needed money to pay debts and spend, he took advantage of loopholes to break into the back door of the monastery house, stole 2 organ groups and sold them to a musical instrument store in Quynh Luu district.

The quick investigation, clarification of the case and return of assets have received gratitude from dignitaries, civil servants and parishioners. The Sisters of Xuan Loc Parish Church sent a letter of thanks to Nghia Loc Commune Police.
