Stealing materials from Dak Lak Power Company to sell

Dak Lak - A man claiming to be an employee of Dak Lak Power Company said he stole the company's materials and then sold them for profit.

At around 10:30 a.m. on April 20, in Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, a man (who claimed to be an employee of Dak Lak Power Company) came to sell items for electrical repair.

It was a ladder with the EVN logo printed and the words: "6,500,000 VND has been inspected".

This person wore a colorful outfit and logo similar to Dak Lak Power Company, saying that he had stolen a ladder from the company and asked to resell it for only half of 3 million VND.

"The staff members stole it so they took it out to sell for profit, and asked for a few boxes of beer to drink" - this person publicly said.

During the discussion, this person repeatedly affirmed that he was an employee of Dak Lak Power Company.

Regarding this incident, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper contacted the Director of Dak Lak Power Company to report the incident.

Mr. Tran Van Thuan - Director of Dak Lak Power Company said: "This is an act of fraud to appropriate property. Many people have impersonated electricity employees to sell goods. We will verify and report to the police force for handling".

According to the investigation, Dak Lak Provincial Police have received information about the above situation and are verifying and clarifying the incident.
