On April 9, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee led by Colonel Nguyen Van Han - Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police - visited and presented monks, dignitaries and Buddhists in Ha Tien City on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year 2025 of the Khmer people.
At Mui Nai Pagoda (Phao Dai Ward) and Xa Xia Pagoda (My Duc Ward), the delegation visited and presented gifts to two outstanding officials and four Khmer families.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han sent greetings to the great virtues, dignitaries and Buddhists to celebrate the traditional New Year happy and happy. At the same time, quickly information about the socio -economic development of Kien Giang province in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025 made strong development steps, people's lives were significantly improved with high and stable average income. Implementing the movement to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses, many new solid houses were handed over on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the Chol Cho Thmay, which contributed to help people stabilize their lives.
On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Nguyen Van Han acknowledged and praised the valuable contributions of the Khmer community in Ha Tien City in the construction of the homeland. At the same time, expressing the desire that the monks and dignitaries will continue to coordinate with the local authorities to mobilize Buddhists to actively work, strictly abide by the law, contribute to maintaining stability of local security and order and firmly defending the sovereignty of the Fatherland.
