Ba To District will coordinate with agencies and units to organize a number of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Startup Day and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Provincial Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025). The People's Committee of Ba To district invested 1.1 billion VND from the State budget to renovate the Ba To Startup Museum to better serve visitors.
For nearly a month, the construction team has mobilized maximum human resources to participate in repairing and upgrading the Ba To Startup Museum. Mr. Vo Van Truc - Captain of the construction team said: "Every day we mobilize 15-20 people to focus on constructing and repairing items in the museum. By March 5, it must be completed and handed over to the district to carefully organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Startup Day".
One of the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Startup Day and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Provincial Liberation Day that the locality focuses on is building a digital library. The project aims to build a digital library data platform through building infrastructure, a library network, enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation, and modernizing the way activities are organized.
With a budget of 5 billion VND, the Ba To district digital library project will be invested in new smart digital library technology equipment, 3D digital library software, and smart multimedia electronic interactive book software. Digitizing and creating a database includes: Interactive books with vivid 3D images and e-books with about 1,000 books. At the same time, it will build and renovate the reading space and library space with an impressive design, inspiring readers and people to come to the digital library.
Mr. Lu Dinh Tich - Vice Chairman of Ba To District People's Committee said that the District People's Committee is actively requesting the investor and the construction unit to complete the Ba To District Digital Library project before March 7. This is a project chosen by the province to be inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Ba To War of the founding (October 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025).
The local authorities are preparing activities to organize them in the most thoughtful, solemn and meaningful way. In particular, the Ba To start-up Museum is being upgraded with more than 200 artifacts and images. Each artifact is a long historical story associated with the Ba To uprising. The exhibition space at the museum will become an attractive tourist destination, a red address for cultural education and revolutionary traditions for the younger generation on the occasion of meaningful events of the district and the province.
