Giving gifts worth over 300 million VND to people in Dak Nong border area

Dak Nong – The provincial Border Guard coordinated with the authorities to organize the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" in the border commune of Thuan Hanh (Dak Song district).

On January 5, in Thuan Hanh commune (Dak Song district, Dak Nong), the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" took place on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

The program was organized by Dak Song Border Guard Station and Training - Mobile Battalion, Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard in coordination with Dak Song District and Thuan Hanh Commune People's Committee.

The Organizing Committee presented 250 gifts to families for the following subjects: Poor households, households in difficult circumstances and families with preferential policies; adopted children of Border Guard Station and students of the "Step Up to School" Program, with a total value of 150 million VND.

The program also donated 3 Great Solidarity houses to families in special difficulty, worth 50 million VND/house.

In addition, the program also took place many meaningful activities such as: Health examination, consultation, free medicine distribution for people; Organizing green banh chung festival; Participating in folk games.

Total cost of program implementation is more than 300 million VND.

Colonel Bui Duc Chinh, Deputy Political Commissar of Dak Nong Provincial Border Guard, said that the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" in 2025 was initiated from Thuan Hanh commune.

After that, the Border Guard Command and units took turns bringing spring to the border communes in the province. The activities aimed to bring the best conditions for the people to celebrate Tet warmly and joyfully.

The program shows the affection and gratitude of border soldiers to people living on the border.

The program contributes to helping ethnic people in border areas continue to feel secure, attached, and stick with local Party committees, authorities, forces, and Border Guards to protect territorial sovereignty and preserve national borders.
