Training on legal propaganda in ethnic minority areas

Kien Giang - The Provincial Ethnic Committee organized a training course on propaganda skills, dissemination and legal education for ethnic minority areas in 2024.

On October 8, the Kien Giang Provincial Ethnic Committee organized a conference to train propaganda and legal education skills for districts and cities in ethnic minority areas in 2024.

The training program took place over 2 days with the participation of 130 delegates who are cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the system of ethnic affairs agencies from district to grassroots level; cadres, civil servants, and public employees assigned to disseminate legal education and propaganda, mobilize ethnic minority people; leaders of Party organizations, authorities, and mass organizations in communes; Hamlet (neighborhood) heads; prestigious people, dignitaries, and religious officials in ethnic minority areas.

Mr. Danh Tha - Deputy Head of Kien Giang Province's Ethnic Minorities Committee said that the training program aims to implement the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee's Plan on commending and honoring advanced models promoting the role of prestigious people; disseminating and educating the law and propagating and mobilizing ethnic minorities under the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority areas in 2024.

Trainees participated in 4 topics: Oral propaganda skills on law for ethnic minorities; Skills to disseminate and educate law through community activities; traditional festivals in ethnic minority areas; Skills to disseminate and educate law through grassroots mediation when resolving conflicts and disputes of ethnic minorities; Dissemination and education of law, fighting against hostile propaganda arguments of reactionary forces in ethnic minority areas.

The topics were presented by leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Committee and reporters from the Department of Justice and lecturers from the Provincial Political School.
