In the historic last days of April, every street in Ho Chi Minh City is filled with a heroic atmosphere, brilliant red color of flags and flowers towards the grand ceremony commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).

Walking around the central and gateway streets of the city such as Le Duan, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Dien Bien Phu... it is easy to see images of red flags with yellow stars flying brilliantly. The stretches of flags and flowers harmonizing with the colors of panels, posters and cheering banners have created a fresh and vibrant appearance for the most dynamic city in the country.


In key areas, LED screens continuously project images of the country's renovation and heroic historical milestones. Large panel clusters not only decorate the streets but also vividly recreate the spirit of April 30th, creating a festival space that is both vibrant and solemn.


Not only on major streets, the festival atmosphere also spread strongly to each agency, business, school and residential area. City residents simultaneously hang national flags, embellish alleys and streets, expressing national pride and deep gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.





51 years have passed since the country was united, the value of peace and the spirit of national unity is still intact. In the modern pace of life, Ho Chi Minh City continues to promote the heroic and meaningful tradition, together with the whole country firmly moving on the journey of building a prosperous, civilized and strong future.
