Towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), on July 25, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the City to organize a memorial ceremony for heroic martyrs at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Ho Chi Minh City (Binh Loi commune).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the City Farmers' Association; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
On the side of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, there were elder Venerable Thich Tri Quang - Dharma Master of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; elder Venerable Thich Thien Nhon - Deputy Dharma Master of the Patronage Council, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Venerable Thich Le Trang - Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the City; along with dignitaries, monks, nuns, Buddhists; representatives of departments, agencies, branches, armed forces, socio-political organizations; people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of policy families.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates observed a minute of silence, offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs, comrades, and compatriots who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee expressed his deep gratitude to generations of revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized the need to continue to improve efficiency, making the "Gratitude" movement a regular activity in social life, so that the tradition of gratitude is always continued and reminds today's and future generations of the sacred values of peace.

On this occasion, the organizing committee presented gifts of gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of people with meritorious services, frontline civilian laborers and relatives of frontline civilian laborers in Binh Loi, Tan Nhut, and Vinh Loc communes.
