On August 28, the People's Committee of Ea Sup commune held a conference to summarize the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune in 2025.
Ea Sup commune was established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population of Ea Sup town, Cu M'Lan and Ea Le communes (belonging to the old Ea Sup district).
The commune has a total area of up to 41,532.23 hectares, including 46 villages, hamlets, residential groups, and ethnic minorities of about 11,833 people (accounting for about 38.5% of the population).
In 2024, the rate of poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard in the commune will be 33.09%. Of which, there are 1,456 poor households and 1,084 near-poor households.
In 2025, the commune will have more than 31,000 people with 745 poor and near-poor households approved to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses (including households transferred from 2024).
By August 15, 2025, the local government had supported the repair and construction of 739 new houses (with 6 households applying to withdraw from the program), completing the set targets.

Sharing about the difficulties encountered during the implementation process, Mr. Nguyen Ba Ban - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Sup commune - commented that the commune has a large area and a large population. The lives of people in 5 ethnic minority areas still face many difficulties.
The traffic system in some villages, hamlets, and residential groups has been damaged and degraded. The slow implementation of planning leads to problems in granting land use right certificates and converting land use purposes.
"Many difficult cases need support, but due to land clearance problems, they do not meet the approval conditions" - Mr. Nguyen Ba Ban - Chairman of Ea Sup Commune People's Committee added.

According to Mr. Ban, to achieve this result, members of the Steering Committee implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses assigned to be in charge of the area in 46 villages, hamlets, and residential groups always grasp the situation, organize field trips to grasp the situation. Thereby, promptly directing and removing difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
The process of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area also has the active support of the military, police, youth unions, etc. Thanks to that, the progress of the program is always guaranteed.

Living in a solid house that was just built in 2025, Ms. H'Nam Ksor (Ea Sup commune) shared: "Previously, my family did not have a stable place to live, life was still difficult, and I ran around every meal.
With the support of the local government, the family has a newly built, spacious and cozy level 4 house. My dream of a shelter from the sun and rain has come true now".

Mr. Do Xuan Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Sup commune said that eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households is a particularly important political task.
In the past, I have directly gone to the facility to urge and resolve difficulties and problems in the implementation process. The commune's motto is to remove it right wherever it is difficult.
According to Mr. Do Xuan Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Sup commune, from July 1, 2025, when the local government at both levels came into operation, Ea Sup commune continued to inherit the spirit of determination to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Thanks to that, the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 of the commune has been completed. People in difficult circumstances have stable places to live, focus on labor and production, and improve their lives.
