On August 28, authorized by the Standing Committee and Party Committee - Command of the 16th Army Corps, Regiment 726 coordinated with the Party Committee and local authorities of Quang Truc commune and Dak Buk So commune (Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province). ) handed over the "Great Solidarity House" to 3 households in extremely difficult circumstances.
The households handed over the Dai Solidarity House are Mr. Dieu Nuy in Bu P'Rang 1A village (Quang Truc commune); Ms. Thi Thiec lives in Bu P'Rang 2 village (Quang Truc commune) and Mr. Le Hong Tu lives in village 1 (Dak Buk So commune).
These Great Solidarity houses are built according to level 4 house standards, with an area of more than 85m2. The total construction cost of each house is more than 200 million VND.
In particular, Army Corps 16 coordinated with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank to support the construction cost of 50 million VND/unit, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.
On this occasion, Regiment 726 also gave livelihood gifts to support 3 families to rise in life.
Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Mr. Doan Minh Thuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Truc commune (Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong) sent his deep thanks to the officers, soldiers, employees and workers of Army Corps 16. and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank have joined forces with the locality to help people in difficult circumstances in the area.
This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024); towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944-December 2, 2024); 5 years of All People's National Defense Festival (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) with a raid emulation to welcome the 16th Army Emulation Congress for the period 2019 - 2024.
