On April 17, Minh Luong Commune Police (Lao Cai province) said that they had promptly coordinated to bring 2 8th grade students back to their localities after they dropped out of school and left their residence to work far away.
Previously, on April 16, the police force received information from the school about P.T. T and P.T. S (both born in 2012, 8th grade students, Nam Xay Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School No. 2, Minh Luong commune) suddenly dropping out of school, leaving the locality and unknown whereabouts.

Immediately after receiving the report, Minh Luong Commune Police urgently deployed forces, applying synchronous professional measures to verify and search. During the review process, by noon on the same day, functional forces identified 2 students present at a boarding house in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park, Phu Tho province.
Faced with the above situation, Minh Luong Commune Police quickly coordinated with families and schools to organize the safe return of the children to their localities. After being handed over, the school received, managed and created conditions for the children to continue studying and stabilize their psychology.

Currently, Minh Luong Commune Police are continuing to verify and clarify individuals who incited and lured students to drop out of school to work. In case violations are detected, they will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
From the above incident, the police force recommends that the end of the school year and summer vacation pose many risks of students being seduced and lured to work as hired laborers in industrial parks.
