Previously, during patrols and inspections to ensure security and order in the area, the working group of Yen Son Ward Police discovered an old man riding a bicycle entering the highway, belonging to Group 7, Yen Son ward (an area with a very high risk of traffic unsafety).
As soon as the incident was discovered, the Task Force quickly approached, supported and took the old man out of the dangerous area and to the Ward Police headquarters for care and mental stabilization. Through conversation, it was learned that the old man's name was Nguyen Huu T (born in 1940, residing in Nga Son commune, Thanh Hoa province). Due to old age and memory decline, he could not remember the way home.
In order to promptly support the old woman to return home safely, Yen Son Ward Police contacted Nga Son Commune Police, Thanh Hoa province to verify information, search for relatives; and at the same time notified the family to pick up the old woman.
At about 10 pm on the same day, her relatives were present at the Yen Son Ward Police headquarters to carry out procedures to bring her back home safely.
