An Giang - The pagoda of the Khmer people in O Lam commune was once the fulcrum of the revolution in the anti-American resistance war.
Nestled under the canopy of an ancient tree by the road to O Thum tourist area (O Lam commune), Snaydonkum Pagoda - a Nam Tong pagoda known by a special name: "B.52" pagoda. During the resistance war against the US, this place was once the fulcrum of the revolution, where people silently supplied food and medicine to the fighting forces at Tuc Dup hill. Therefore, the pagoda became a target of fierce attacks, being plowed by B.52 aircraft, leaving bomb craters still imprinted to this day.
After the war, Snaydonkum Pagoda was gradually restored. On the land once stained with bombs and bullets, the religious and cultural life of the Khmer people is reviving, preparing to welcome the traditional Tet season in a peaceful atmosphere.
