On January 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province organized a handover of gongs, costumes, equipment, props, and musical instruments to support ethnic minority clubs and art troupes in the area.
At the program, the Organizing Committee handed over 16 gong sets, 140 brocade costumes, 69 Tinh lutes, 126 Tay-Nung costumes, 56 Thai costumes, 12 Muong costumes, and 14 Dao Thanh y costumes.
In addition, there are musical instruments such as T'rung, Ding Pah, monochord, bamboo flute, two-stringed fiddle, and flute... The units receiving the awards include 33 clubs and art troupes of ethnic minority villages and hamlets in the province.

This time, Mr. Y No Ly Kbuor, Lao ethnic musical instrument club (Krong Na commune, Buon Don district) received traditional Lao costumes and a set of T'rung instruments, a gong, and a 2-tier bamboo gong set.
Mr. Y No Ly Kbuor said: "Our club has been operating for more than 10 years, there are some missing musical instruments and others are worn out and damaged. This time, the group is very happy to receive some costumes and musical instruments. This set of instruments helps us continue to develop the club to preserve the culture and national identity."
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said: "This activity is implemented to preserve and promote gong culture in the province and the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas".
According to Ms. Hieu, clubs and art teams have additional equipment and musical instruments for practice and participation in activities to improve the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
These items will be a source of motivation and encouragement for the art teams to constantly promote their talents, make creative efforts, and contribute to honoring national culture.
