Located right in the center of Buon Ma Thuot, Ako Dhông village still retains the pristine beauty of a traditional Central Highlands village. This is the residence of the E De community, and also preserves many unique cultural values such as long houses, gongs, brocade weaving and can wine making.

The name Akô Dhông means "water source of the valley", associated with many streams such as Ea Ding, Ea Pủi, Ea Dung and Ea Nuôl stream. Along the roads, lively carved house gates of everyday life appear like a "living museum".
Green space, long houses with a faint wooden scent and a slow pace of life bring a feeling of peace and isolation from the city. The E De people still maintain the matriarchal system, clearly shown in architecture and sculptural details bearing the shape of women.
In recent years, Ako Dhông village has developed community tourism based on existing cultural foundations. Tourists can experience sleeping in long houses, enjoying specialties, wearing brocade costumes and learning about local life. In early 2023, this place was recognized as the first community tourism village of Dak Lak province.
This development contributes to improving people's lives. From a small vegetable stall, Mr. Y Nguyet Nie opened a restaurant with many E De specialties, attracting a large number of tourists and creating jobs for people in the village.
In the midst of urban life, Ako Dhông village appears as a peaceful quiet space, where tradition and culture still go hand in hand in daily life. With its own identity and unique cultural values, this community tourism village is a worthwhile stopover when coming to the Central Highlands.
