On March 29, information from the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that it had just coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Police to organize a ceremony to receive and hand over the community cultural house combined with flood shelter in Muong Long commune.
The project is sponsored by the family of Mr. Le Hong Thai (residing in Hanoi), with a total budget of 10 billion VND, supporting mountainous areas that are still facing many difficulties.
According to the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Muong Long commune is a locality that is frequently affected by natural disasters, and people's lives are still in dire straits. The construction of works that both serve community activities and are safe shelters when floods occur is very necessary.
The cultural house is designed with many functions, not only meeting the needs of living and organizing cultural activities but also contributing to connecting the community, preserving and promoting local identity.
In addition, the project is expected to become a highlight in community tourism development, creating more opportunities to improve livelihoods for people.
Local representatives said that with the attention of all levels, the companionship of sponsors and the joint efforts of the people, the project will be exploited effectively, serving the community for a long time.
