On the morning of April 19, at the Village of Culture - Tourism of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (Doai Phuong commune, Hanoi City), the highland cultural space was recreated when the Chu Ru people (D'Ran commune, Lam Dong province) brought the new rice celebration festival to the heart of the Capital.
The opening ceremony takes place solemnly next to the 7-panel Neu tree. The village elder performs the sacred Yang prayer, expressing gratitude to the gods for protecting and giving abundant harvests.

This is not only a spiritual ritual but also deeply expresses the connection between humans and nature, where rice grains carry the meaning of life, belief and hope.
The festival space continues to be expanded with activities recreating familiar agricultural life: scenes of harvesting rice, pounding rice, the rhythmic sound of pestles and mortars reminiscent of the origin of rice production. Every small detail contributes to creating a true and close cultural picture.

The highlight of the festival is the vibrant sounds of gongs and trumpets harmonizing with the flexible Arya dance. Visitors not only enjoy but also directly participate, immersing themselves in the vibrant rhythm of the mountains and forests.
The ritual of opening jars of rice wine also brings a cozy and cohesive atmosphere. The strong flavor of wine yeast, along with the sincere invitation of the people, creates a rich and unique experience, connecting participants in a spirit of sharing and community.
The festival is not only an occasion to thank after the harvest but also sends wishes for a prosperous life, continuing crops and the resilience of the community over time. This is also a way for the traditional cultural values of the Chu Ru people to continue to be preserved and spread in contemporary life.
