A series of videos about the daily life of male singer Duy Manh always receive great attention from fans. Recently, when returning to Hai Phong City, the male singer visited a restaurant associated with childhood memories.
Many fans in Hai Phong recognize this as a banh mi gio restaurant on Minh Khai street. This is a banh mi gio restaurant of childhood for many people of the 8x and 9x generations in Hai Phong.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Yen, the owner of the restaurant, said that it has been open for sale since 1989.
Regular customers of the restaurant still often call this "gio" restaurant in the three-bell clock clock. Because Ms. Yen sits selling in front of the building with a bell tower built in 1895, with three clock turns to the west, south, and north. During the French colonial period, this was the Hai Phong Trade Office, later the City Department of Culture and Information (old).

Singer Duy Manh recounted that when his family's restaurant opened here in 1998, the spring roll stall existed. In 2018, when the male singer's family's restaurant closed, Ms. Yen still maintained selling this location.
On the day he visited the shop recently, singer Duy Manh bought 2 banh day gio for 80,000 VND. He generously did not take extra money. While waiting for the cake, he continuously asked the shop owner.
He even happily joked that the restaurant owner sells 2 tons of sausage every day, buying an old building - where his family's restaurant used to open. In response to the words of a regular customer, Ms. Yen happily replied and quickly made cakes, not letting the male singer wait long.
Ms. Vu Linh (Hai Phong) is a regular customer of Ms. Yen's spring roll shop for 6 years now. She continuously praises the food here as well as the owner's welcoming sales style.
I have been eating at her restaurant for quite a long time. I feel reassured about everything here. From ingredients to flavor, she preserves everything very cleanly, and when slicing spring rolls for customers, she carefully wears gloves too. And she serves customers who buy goods very quickly, few customers have to wait too long," Ms. Linh shared.

Having worked in Hai Phong for more than 10 years, Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh (Hanoi) recounted his memory: "I have been eating here since 2013. At that time, her restaurant was very small, each piece was sold for 10,000 - 15,000 VND. Each time she bought, she gave me a lot of spring rolls".
Almost every morning I buy breakfast here, banh mi gio is very delicious. For us workers, this breakfast is both delicious and cheap. In my memory, the shop owner is cheerful and happy," the male diner added.
Ms. Yen's gio shop is loved for banh day, banh mi, sticky rice served with lean gio, gio lo, gio tai, cha... Banh mi gio has very simple ingredients, only sprinkled with salt and pepper for richness, the flavor is memorable for many generations.
Besides, sticky rice with spring rolls is also a favorite dish of many Hai Phong diners. The dishes are all filled with spring rolls, sausages... The restaurant is open from early morning until 7 pm.
