Amidst the myriad of shops springing up in the tourist city of Da Nang, the modest Hue Na beef noodle shop on Le Quang Dao street (Ngu Hanh Son ward) has been a familiar destination for many tourists for many years.
From backpackers who are curious about Vietnamese cuisine, Asian guests who love the country, to even celebrities who have visited and praised the restaurant's rich flavor and sincere service.
Mr. Pham Anh Quan, the restaurant owner, was a teacher in Hue. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he decided to change direction to pursue his passion for cuisine.
After four years of opening for sale, Mr. Quan's Bun bo Hue Na restaurant has gradually become a familiar address for those who love the authentic Hue beef noodle flavor of the Central region but are still flexible enough to please diners from all over the world.

The restaurant specializes in serving Hue beef noodle soup such as: beef stewed, rare beef stewed, ham stewed, rare stewed... at reasonable prices, ranging from 30,000 to 65,000 VND.
A special bowl of Hue beef noodle soup includes pig's feet, Hue pig's pork, blood, khaki beef, rare beef and sweet broth, carefully simmered from bone marrow, with a little typical Hue shrimp, but not too rich like many places in Hue.
Diner Minh Thu (Hanoi) commented: "I find the broth sweet. If it is a little more salty, it will be more suitable for the Northern flavor. In general, it is delicious, plump, fast-served and the space is clean".
Aaron and Caron, from the US, commented that the bowl of beef noodle soup at the restaurant has nothing to criticize. Call mixed beef noodle soup because you will enjoy many different types of meat and all are perfectly soft. The broth is wonderful, rich in flavor but still not too heavy. This is the best broth we have ever eaten in Da Nang.

Mr. Quan explained that Hue beef noodle soup must be rich because Hue people often eat it more salty. But the restaurant had to change the light broth to a little to sell in a tourist city like in Da Nang, serving customers from the Central, Northern, Southern, and foreign regions...
"Eaters can season themselves to taste. If it had been cooked properly in Hue, many people would have asked for more boiling water to thin it, Mr. Quan shared.
The interesting thing about this beef noodle shop is that the typical ingredients such as shrimp, crab cakes, nam cake, banh loc... are all sent directly from Hue.

Mr. Quan shared: "My house in Hue also sells beef noodle soup. My mother has been cooking beef noodle soup for a long time, so I learned how to cook beef noodle soup from her. All the materials that can be sent are transported from Hue, the rest I import from Da Nang".
The restaurant has a small but neat, clean space, quick service and friendliness, open from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm every day.
In a vibrant tourist city like Da Nang, where everything is always moving and changing, a small beef noodle shop with a rich flavor of "Hue soul" that blends with modern flavors is a rare thing.
