The most famous bun cha restaurant in Thai Nguyen has one thing that is "unique"

The bun cha restaurant near the church has been a familiar culinary destination for Thai Nguyen city residents for decades.

When mentioning delicious and famous restaurants in Thai Nguyen, we cannot help but mention Hai Nghi Bun Cha restaurant, also known as “church bun cha”. Located in a small alley right next to Thai Nguyen Parish Church, this Bun Cha restaurant has become a familiar destination for locals and tourists for nearly 30 years.

The main dish and what makes the restaurant's brand is bun cha. The cha is made from fresh pork, minced and seasoned to taste before grilling.

Diners can choose lean sausage, fatty sausage or mixed sausage depending on their preference. A normal portion at the restaurant has quite a lot. Each sausage and grilled meat is fragrant and tender.

Next, we cannot fail to mention the dipping sauce - the soul of the dish. The dipping sauce for bun cha is made from common ingredients such as fish sauce, sugar, chili, vinegar, pickles... but is seasoned strongly, with a sweet taste.

In particular, the dipping sauce also contains peanut salt - an ingredient that few bun cha restaurants use. The unique recipe helps the dipping sauce to have a richer flavor, making it more "fun" to eat.

Along with bun cha, diners can order fried tofu and spring rolls, crispy on the outside and just cooked on the inside, adding to the appeal of the dish.

In addition to bun cha, in recent years the restaurant has added other dishes to the menu, including bun dau, bun cha chan, bun oc, bun oc suon... The dishes are all very filling, well-seasoned, and the broth is adjusted harmoniously. The menu costs from 30,000 to about 50,000 VND.

Tran Nhat Hoang, a diner, commented: “The bun cha is delicious, the broth is sweet, the price is reasonable. My friend who is a local here (Thai Nguyen) took me there to eat, and said that this is the best bun cha restaurant in Thai Nguyen city.”

The restaurant also scores points with its clean, airy space, including both indoor and outdoor areas. Diners can enjoy their meals while admiring the church.

When you come to eat, you can park your car on the side and in front of the church. However, the restaurant is currently renovating the interior, so diners can sit and eat in the space next to the restaurant, which is still very clean and airy.
