In Busan, there is a Vietnamese restaurant called "Beo Bun cha" that has just opened, but has quickly attracted the attention of local people.
Blogger Arum and her friends visited this restaurant in early November and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the authentic Vietnamese dishes.
The restaurant is decorated similar to restaurants in Vietnam. The menu is diverse with dishes prepared by Vietnamese chefs. Besides typical dishes such as beef pho, bun cha, there are also bun dau mam tom, bun bo Hue, and stir-fried water spinach.
Dishes cost an average of 6,000 won (VND 108,000) to 10,000 won (VND 180,000). According to Arum, this is considered a very reasonable price.
Arum and her friend ordered a portion of beef pho, bun cha, spring rolls and fresh spring roll.
"I added more bean sprouts to the pho and I ate almost all of it by myself. The pho was slightly adjusted to Korean tastes, but the ingredients, coriander, and onions were exactly the same as in Vietnam. The pho noodles were soft and the broth was delicious. I was surprised that the portion was so big, but it only cost 6,000 won (VND108,000). The pho and noodles were both filling, I really liked it," Arum shared.
Like the restaurant name, Beo Bun Cha is most famous for its bun cha dish.
"I was curious to try bun cha and I admit this is the best dish. There are fried onions, grilled meat, lettuce, cucumbers served with fish sauce. Just looking at the bowl of bun made my mouth water. The fish sauce is sour and salty, just like I had in Vietnam. The spring rolls and grilled meat make the flavor even richer. This dish is excellent," she shared.
After trying the golden, crispy fried spring rolls, Arum said the food was so delicious that she wanted to order 20 more plates. The blogger added that not only was the food quality good, but the service was also very friendly. This is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the local flavors of Vietnamese food in Busan at an affordable price.
