The tofu shop on Hang Da Street (Hanoi) is always busy from afternoon to evening. At times, customers line up dozens of meters long to wait to buy.

Five years ago, Mr. Nguyen Hoang and his wife opened a tofu shop on Hang Da Street (Hanoi). The shop is open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

The menu consists of only 4 dishes: Black pearl tofu pudding, full tofu pudding, jelly, and white jelly dessert. Prices range from 10,000 - 30,000 VND.

His wife researched the recipes online, practiced them, and constantly adjusted them.

According to Mr. Hoang, service attitude is always the top priority for them to "please customers when they come and satisfy customers when they go".

Thanks to its unique flavor and attentive service style, over time, the couple’s tofu shop gradually became more crowded. At times, customers lined up long lines to buy tofu.

The owner said that ingredients such as jelly, caramel, and white jelly will be prepared in the morning. Tofu pudding and tapioca pearls will be cooked in the afternoon. Thanks to that, the tofu pudding will always be hot when it reaches customers.

“For me, cleanliness is the first criterion for a delicious bowl of tofu,” said Mr. Hoang.

Mr. Hoang and his wife sell on the first floor of the small house, inside there is a separate cooking area. When there are too many customers and ingredients need to be constantly added, Mr. Hoang will be in the kitchen cooking tofu and tapioca pearls, while his wife stands outside selling.

Ms. Do Trang (Long Bien, Hanoi) - a regular customer of the shop, said: "This is the only tofu shop that suits my taste. There are weeks when I come here every day. I can't stand it if it's not there," Ms. Trang shared.

Similar to Ms. Trang, Ms. Phuong Thao Anh (Dong Da, Hanoi) also considers this restaurant a regular because of the taste of the food and the polite, enthusiastic service style of the restaurant owners.

“The shop’s tofu has a light, sweet taste. In particular, the food here is always hot and fresh. The ingredients are displayed cleanly. I often invite friends here to party and gather,” said Ms. Thao Anh.
