Durian of Ben Tre Enters Top of the Most Delicious Fruits in Southeast Asia

The series of fruits from Vietnam such as Durian, dragon fruit, buffalo horn... are evaluated to have the best flavor in Southeast Asia, according to the food website Taste Atlas.

Taste Atlas - a website providing information that has been dubbed as the world's culinary map has just announced the top 26 types of fruits that should be enjoyed in Southeast Asia. Vietnam has many famous and delicious types of fruits listed in this list, including dragon fruit, durian, jackfruit, coconut, mango, and red bay.

Ranking fifth in the list, Phan Thiet dragon fruit is introduced by Taste Atlas as one of the fruits with a distinctive flavor, sweet and refreshing taste. In addition, the dragon fruit garden can also become a destination for tourists to explore in the "agricultural tourism" model.

Alongside the white-pithed dragon fruit, the red-pithed dragon fruit is also popular in culinary preparation due to its attractive color. Many restaurants take advantage of this ingredient to prepare appetizers, side dishes, desserts, and beverages.

Furthermore, the dragon fruit of Binh Thuan also appears in the list at the 7th ranking.

The durian of Cai Mon (Ben Tre) is ranked 7th in the list. This fruit is dubbed as the king of fruits but is quite picky about the taste of people eating it. Taste Atlas describes it as a durian with "thick flesh, fragrant, sweet and creamy flavor that many people associate with cow's milk. The fruit has relatively few seeds".

Durian contains many nutrients that are good for health, can be prepared as both sweet and savory dishes such as dessert, cake, ice cream, sticky rice... However, for those who are sensitive to fragrances, durian is considered a "nightmare" because it is too pungent.

Coconut of Ben Tre, jackfruit of Lo Ren, mango of Hoa Loc, and red bay of Vietnam are also evaluated as the most delicious fruits in Southeast Asia. These fruits have a delicious flavor, are good for health, and are suitable for eating in hot weather.

Furthermore, in the top 26 most delicious fruits in Southeast Asia, there are many familiar fruits to Vietnamese people such as longan, mangosteen, rambutan, jackfruit, sapodilla, banana... Among them, the mangosteen of Indonesia is evaluated as the most delicious fruit in Southeast Asia.
