Experience contemporary baked cuisine in the heart of Hanoi

Vietnamese cuisine is facing a wave of change, when traditional values are breathed into a modern spirit, not ostentatious but full of inner strength.

In a small corner along the West Lake, there is a space that chooses to "speak Vietnamese" with the sophisticated grilled culinary language, imbued with Northern characteristics but redefined by contemporary aesthetics. The space of the restaurant is like a stage of memories: Wood, low light, folk reliefs... everything reminds us of the ancient countryside but not very old.

On the second floor, the open grilled kitchen acts as a lively performance: the sound of cheerful cheers, the aroma of fragrant smoke, and the skillful movements of the chef as if telling the story on fire.

On the 3rd floor, the restaurant has 4 VIP rooms designed like quiet "pick-ups", each room is associated with a separate folk story. This is an ideal choice for private parties, meeting partners or celebrating special occasions in a space imbued with identity.

The cuisine here is not simply a dish, but a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Technical "charcoal baking" dishes require sophistication in heat control but still have to retain the natural sweetness of the ingredients. From sea goose skewers, grilled pig's cheeks with honey hook leaves to salted grilled fruit fish, fragrant green rolls, each dish has Vietnamese soul but is expressed in the rhythm of the times.

Sharing about the restaurant's vision, the representative of Gao restaurant said: "In Gao, we not only serve dishes, we tell stories. Each dish is a dialogue between the past and the present. Rice is not a place to recreate ancient cuisine in a original way, but is a place where Vietnamese values are redefined to suit modern feelings, especially for the younger generation and international tourists.

The special thing is the way the restaurant does not limit itself to the definition of traditional Vietnamese cuisine, but instead focuses on the Vietnamese Modern Grill model. This is a rare choice in the heart of Hanoi that is rapidly urbanizing. Not only serving dishes, this place gives diners a cultural experience through space, folk stories, sophisticated service and a slow pace of life in the bustling streets.

In a city where international cuisine is on the throne, this place chose to keep the fire burning with very Vietnamese things such as pink coal, incense sticks and ancestral stories. It is a journey to preserve identity in a new form, making the culinary experience not only stop at taste, but also touch the memories and emotions of the person enjoying it.
