Promptly handle violations in business operations
On August 2, Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Chairman of Cua Lo Ward People's Committee said that the locality determines that building a civilized, friendly, and safe tourism environment is a task that must be implemented resolutely, persistently and synchronously.
Accordingly, along with propaganda and reminding business households to comply with regulations, local authorities will strengthen inspections and promptly handle violations, especially acts that directly affect the rights and safety of people and tourists.

Recently, the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward issued a decision to fine Mr. P.V. D. 7.5 million VND for collecting service fees at parking lot No. 19 higher than the listed price.
In addition to fines, violators are also forced to return to customers the amount of money collected higher than the listed price. Local authorities affirmed that they will continue to inspect and strictly handle cases of not listing prices or collecting money higher than the publicly disclosed level.
Previously, an incident related to a bowl of eel porridge priced at 250,000 VND at a night eatery in Cua Lo also caused much debate on social networks.
After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward coordinated with the Ward Police and related units to conduct verification. The results showed that this was a large bowl of porridge in the meal of a group of about 15 people and was requested by customers to add eels.
However, the business establishment was determined to have made a mistake in not notifying customers about the changed price level after supplementing raw materials. The government has requested the establishment to strictly implement the listing, publicizing prices and clearly notifying customers when service prices change.
Not only the field of dining, parking, but also entertainment activities at sea are being strengthened by the locality.

At the end of May 2026, the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward worked and made records of administrative violations against 3 water motorbike businesses for bringing vehicles to operate outside the permitted area, at times entering the beach area of tourists.
The penalty level is expected by functional agencies to be from 20-30 million VND for each business. Units are required to strictly comply with the operating scope that has been licensed, not to let water motorbikes enter the beach area, causing unsafety risks.
Joining hands to build a tourism environment
Leaders of Cua Lo ward said that in case of continued violations after being reminded and signing commitments, the locality will consider applying stricter handling measures according to regulations.
According to Mr. Cao Minh Tu, in addition to handling specific cases, the ward will continue to propagate to each business establishment to raise awareness of responsibility, properly implement regulations on prices, service quality, safety and cultural behavior towards tourists.
The locality's point of view is to resolutely, determinedly and persistently implement synchronous solutions, both propaganda and mobilization, and inspection and handling of violations, thereby building a civilized, friendly and safe Cua Lo tourism environment" - Mr. Cao Minh Tu said.
The Cua Lo ward government also requested people and tourists to promptly reflect violations in business and service activities for functional agencies to inspect and handle; at the same time, information posted on social networks needs to be objective and complete, avoiding misunderstandings and negatively affecting the local tourism image.
