On May 2nd, according to the Culture and Social Department of Cua Lo ward (Nghe An), during the peak holidays, the number of tourists flocking to the locality "following the river to the sea" always maintains over 100,000 people/day.
Real-world records show that some services serving tourists are overloaded, especially the freshwater bathing area. The large number of users makes the water supply system operate unstable, at times the water flow is weak or interrupted.

Although the number of visitors has increased sharply, the prices of basic dining and accommodation services are still kept stable, and there is no sudden price increase. Many tourists assess that the cost at Cua Lo is still reasonable compared to other famous sea tourist destinations.
Notably, freshwater bathing service is listed at about 10,000 VND/session, but due to the pressure of a large number of customers, the service quality is not uniform.
According to functional forces, despite the large number of people and vehicles gathering, the security and order situation at the tourist area is still ensured. Environmental sanitation work is implemented regularly, especially at night, helping the beach to be clean and ready to welcome guests on the new day.
