On April 14, in an exchange with reporters, the leader of Cua Lo ward said that the locality respectfully acknowledges the opinions of people and tourists. According to the ward leader, the opinions are all valid, showing the desire to build Cua Lo sea tourist area to become more civilized and modern.
Previously, many tourists reflected some inadequacies at Cua Lo beach tourist area such as: the beach still has garbage, lack of trash cans and sanitation work has not been maintained regularly; bathrooms and toilets do not meet requirements; service prices are not transparent, there are still concerns about "overcharging"; electric car and taxi operations are still uncontrolled.

Some opinions suggest that the reason does not only come from objective conditions but also from seasonal tourism thinking, lack of long-term orientation. "If you only take advantage of doing business in the peak months without focusing on service quality, it will be difficult to keep tourists back" - a tourist expressed his opinion.
Comparing with other coastal tourist destinations such as Sam Son, many opinions believe that the difference lies in the way services are organized and managed synchronously, from environmental sanitation, price listing to vehicle control and raising community awareness.
Regarding the above inadequacies, leaders of Cua Lo ward explained some reasons.
First, due to old planning, many items cannot use the budget for investment and renovation when not adjusted, and coastal areas mainly have to mobilize socialized resources.
Second, the impact of the storm has damaged many items, requiring almost complete restoration, while the appraisal, approval, and bidding process according to regulations takes a lot of time.
Third, the contingent of officials still has some limitations in management work.
Leaders of Cua Lo ward said that they will make maximum efforts to overcome the shortcomings that people and tourists reflect, aiming to build Cua Lo into a more civilized, friendly, hospitable and attractive destination in the coming time.
