On March 31, in Cua Lo ward, units are urgently implementing a series of items to renovate and upgrade infrastructure to serve the 2026 summer tourist season.
Accelerate infrastructure completion progress
Along the beach route, many utility works serving tourists such as freshwater bathing spots are being constructed with urgent progress. Currently, some points have completed the foundation, workers and machinery are focusing on installing shower systems and auxiliary items.
According to the plan, the entire Cua Lo beach route will have 15 freshwater bathing points built synchronously, replacing old and damaged works after natural disasters in 2025. Each point arranges 12 bathing pillars with a total of 48 showers, along with a hand and foot washing basin, toilets, dressing rooms and accompanying amenities.
These projects are implemented in the form of socialization, both reducing the burden on the budget and aiming for professional and long-term operation.

In parallel with that, the locality has completed planting about 1,300 new coconut trees along the beach, creating green space, increasing shade and forming typical landscape highlights. Lighting systems, public wifi, parking lots and check-in points are also being supplemented and completed.
Traffic infrastructure continues to be heavily invested. Cua Lo Ward is deploying carpeting of 17 roads with a total cost of about 50 billion VND. Main roads such as Binh Minh and Mai Thuc Loan are being synchronously renovated, ensuring ventilation and convenience for travel.
Creating a new face, increasing tourism attraction
Representatives of local authorities said that infrastructure works serving tourism will be basically completed before mid-April. Along with that, the sea dyke and pedestrian path damaged after the 2025 storm will also be repaired, ensuring safety and aesthetics.
Synchronous infrastructure investment is considered an important preparation step to improve service capacity and impress tourists during the peak season.

The highlight of this year's tourist season is the Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2026 with the theme "Four seasons of sea calling". The opening ceremony is expected to take place on the evening of April 25th at Binh Minh Square with an art program combined with high-altitude fireworks.
In addition to the opening ceremony, a series of activities such as sea carnivals, food festivals, sports tournaments, and tourism experience programs will be organized throughout the year, aiming to develop 4-season tourism.
In 2025, Cua Lo tourism welcomed about 4.76 million visitors, reaching revenue of nearly 5,000 billion VND. This result shows the increasing attractiveness of the destination, and at the same time poses the requirement to continue upgrading and completing infrastructure to meet the growth needs in 2026.
