Mr. Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen - Deputy Head of Khanh Hoa Travel Association - said that during the September 2nd holiday this year, the group of tourists coming to Nha Trang mainly went with families, concentrated in neighboring localities, tourists returning to their hometown for holidays and international tourists.
Representatives of some hotels on Tran Phu and Pham Van Dong streets said that the current room occupancy rate is about 80-90% and is expected to continue to increase in the coming days.
Representatives of the Van Phong - Nha Trang, Nha Trang - Cam Lam and Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway operating stations said that on the first day of the September 2nd holiday, expressway routes recorded about 10,000-30,000 vehicle trips. However, no prolonged congestion or traffic jams have been recorded.
More tense traffic conditions were recorded on the highway sections from Binh Thuan to Ho Chi Minh City, when many family cars moved to the central provinces for tourism and homecoming.
At tourist destinations such as Ponagar Tower, Oceanographic Museum, VinWonders and Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, the number of visitors flocking is quite large, mainly domestic tourists, along with Russian and Korean tourists.
On the second day of the September 2nd holiday, Nha Trang tourist wharf is expected to welcome about 7,000-8,000 visitors.
According to a representative of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, a 5-day holiday is an advantage that helps the number of visitors to be distributed evenly, not concentrated on one peak day.
Thanks to that, departure operations are guaranteed, without congestion or tourists having to wait for a long time.
